counseLling
Trauma comes in many shapes and sizes, and a troubled society like that of South Africa is home to countless incidents that immerse families into the painful repercussions brought on by the experience of trauma. We believe in the healing graces of God through the ministry of the Church and our personal spiritual lives. Certain traumatic realities, however, require specialised assistance from professionals in the trauma counselling field.
Parish

Start with your parish. Approach your priest to start off your journey with prayer and discernment. If specialised assistance is needed, your priest might refer you to a parish-based counsellor or an external counsellor. He might also refer you to a specialised ministry or program.
